SUMMARY:Seated miniature painting competition
DESCRIPTION:Most club members are aware of the area of death gaming board that is used at tournaments to split ties between opposing commanders. Well now it is being upgraded with a new seat of bleachers and we need a baying crowd to fill the seats. \nOur current competition is therefore to paint a single WW2 seated model to affix to the bleachers. \nIf you don’t have a model to donate collect one from Chris. \nEvery painted model received will be able to pick from one of the special prize models we have available. 1st painted\, 1st served. \nThe competition closes at the August club night so don’t delay.

SUMMARY:Northern Model Show - Assault on Merville Battery
DESCRIPTION:Work is currently in progress on our club’s new 3D Merville Gun Battery boards for Bolt Action. The assaulting British Paras and defending Germans are all Warlord Games miniatures. Warlord Games have also very kindly donated some of the new plastic gun crews to man the four 3D printed Czech guns that we have for the Battery. \nMerville Battery – work to date\nJust the tufting\, flocking and touching up to go. \nWe will be using these boards to give intro games of Bolt Action at the Northern Model Show on 7th June in North Tyneside where we are running two tables. \n6’x6′ Assault on Merville Battery interactive demo. All participants take away a sprue of Bolt Action British Airborne. \n6’x4′ Konflikt ’47 interactive demo \n  \nThe boards have been assembled over a number of weeks.
